We are to be an aroma of life to those who believe and the stench of death to unbelievers.
Starting from “out there” of our family of believers.
There was a cry in the 60s through the 80s for identity and purpose. “Who are we and why are we here”. We can go through life on automatic but we have been forgiven for a purpose ( the whole church needs to be looking at their essence)
Luke 4:18-19 Jesus proclaimed his ministry very clearly and set the tone for why He came. We are to preach the good news to the poor (physical poverty and spiritual poverty). In many parts of the world, poor people are in desperate need physically and spiritually. God’s heart is for those on the outer, refugees, widows, orphans, the least the last and the lost.
