The church is made up of people who trust Jesus. This local church has a distinct flavour. Denomination and differences show the creativity and diversity of God ( wouldn’t it be poorer if every flower was the same)

We are living between the Crucifixion and Coming King. Jesus’s return was foretold by Jesus. Matt 5:35. John 14:1-3 at the last supper talks about coming back for his disciples. 1 Tim standing before God because of the blood of Jesus. Hebrews 10: We need to persevere until He comes back. 1 Cor 11. 1 Thess 5 etc over and over again we see the theme of Jesus coming back. Acts 1:11 As Jesus rose into heaven, the Angels said that Jesus will return in like manner. Jesus return is imminent and is a lot more imminent now. 2 Peter 3 is all about the coming of Jesus. This Gospel must be preached in every land and then the end will come.
Jesus’ return will be visible and personal. Matthew 25 the King is coming back (personally pay us a visit to take us home). 2 Thess 2:8 Jesus will be revealed from Heaven with blazing fire. Jesus will be seen by everyone.
The first time Jesus came was as a baby. The only sinless one ever. He died for us. He rose from the dead, conquering death. He is coming back as Judge and King… Maybe sooner than we think.
